The PhagiaFlex CTAR Device
The PhagiaFlex CTAR device is a flexible, z-shaped exercise tool that was specifically designed to optimize the CTAR exercise (the Chin Tuck Against Resistance exercise). It provides continuous, bi-directional resistance during the exercise, which is adjustable by holding it higher (more resistance) or lower (less resistance.
Three PhagiaFlex CTAR Device Models
The Hand Held CTAR Exercise Device
This is the regular size, standard PhagiaFlex CTAR exercise device. It is held in the hand, and pressed against the chest, which makes it easier to hold in position while doing the exercises, without having to raise the hands and arms up high. The pressure of the hold in inward towards the chest, which is easier to do than pressing upwards. The design of the PhagiaFlex provides upward pressure under the chin simply by holding the device in place against the chest.
The Small/Pediatric Hand Held CTAR Exercise Device
The small size hand held PhagiaFlex CTAR exercise device is the same as the regular size device, but it is smaller, to fit children.
The Hands Free CTAR Exercise Device
The Hands Free CTAR Exercise Device slides onto an adjustable height hospital bedside table, so that it can be used while in bed or reclined in a chair without having to hold it. This model allows patients who do not have the strength to hold a device in place to still be able to perform the CTAR exercise very effectively.
